1. What size of generator will I need?
Sizes will vary from home to home but generally most homes will require the 7kw to 16kw air-cooled size.
2. How loud are the generators?
The air-cooled generators don't even inhibit regular conversation between two people standing next to a running air-cooled generator. This is because Guardian designs the generators for residential neighborhoods.
3. How much service is involved?
When dealing with electricity producing devices extra care is necessary, we recommend two site visits per year to maximize safe usage.
4. How long do they last?
A properly maintained generator should provide you with over 20 years of operation under emergency standby conditions. Air-cooled units are not designed for continuous power usage (24/7 365 days). Liquid cooled units are designed for continuous use. Be sure to examine your needs and demand before choosing.
5. How long till I receive my generator?
After placing your order, and if the generator is in stock, delivery only takes approx. 2-3 business days. However if we need to order it from the factory 2-6 weeks is usually all it takes granted there are no complications or unexpected delays.

7. What type of fuel supply will run the generator?
All Guardian generators use both Liquid Propane (LP) and Natural gas with the exception of the portable generators, which are designed for gasoline only.
8. Can you install my generator?
Yes. We can find a certified Guardian installation expert in your area, just request an installation quote when ordering.
9. How much does it cost?
Taking into consideration the variables, purchasing a Guardian generator may cost as little as under $2000.00 depending on the usage needs.
10. How much will it cost to run?
Depending on the price of natural gas, during an emergency expect to pay less than $30/day for gas usage. Cheaper than a refrigerator full of spoiled food!
